French Quilt

Quilting has taken the back burner for about a year or so now. What got me back into it was when my sister-in-law asked me to make one for my niece. She picked out the main fabric, then I went to the store to find some complimentary colors. About halfway through quilting this quilt, the color scheme finally connected to my memories of the Fisher Price Doll Houses my sisters and I would spends hours playing with! I give this quilt the nickname, Fisher Price "French" quilt.

It's not perfect, but I will tell you I managed to quilt this twin size beauty in one week before Christmas. Yeah. I didn't get much of anything else done, but I still love how it turned out!
